About the Role**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a Production Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our production facility. The successful candidate will manage production staff, ensure efficient production processes, meet production targets, and maintain high standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities- Production Oversight: Manage and coordinate all production activities, including scheduling, workflow, and resource allocation.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and support production staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and streamline operations.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor production processes to ensure products meet or exceed quality standards and specifications.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods.
- Reporting and Analysis: Track and analyze production metrics, such as output, efficiency, and downtime.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage production budgets, including labor, materials, and overhead costs.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in production management or a similar role.
- Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities, excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, proficiency in production planning and control techniques, knowledge of quality control processes and safety regulations.
