Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections of the truck and trailer to ensure safe operation.
  • Safely load building materials onto flatbed or boom trucks and unload products at various job sites.
  • Deliver materials to designated areas as instructed by clients.
  • Maintain accurate records to comply with state and federal regulations.
  • Report all incidents involving company equipment or personal vehicles.
  • Exhibit the physical stamina to lift heavy materials, up to 50 lbs, during loading and unloading processes.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Possession of a valid commercial driver's license with a minimum of one year of experience.
  • A clear three-year Motor Vehicle Report is required.
  • Familiarity with Department of Transportation regulations is essential.
  • A high school diploma or GED is necessary.
  • Experience with boom or crane operations is advantageous.
  • A professional demeanor, strong character, and excellent leadership abilities are crucial.
