Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech and Language Pathologist Assistant to join our Special Education Department. As a key member of our team, you will provide essential support to our Speech and Language Pathologists, ensuring the highest level of care and services for our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend meetings and in-service presentations to stay updated on job functions and best practices.
  • Collect and maintain accurate student information for report preparation and data processing.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including parents, students, and speech and language pathologists.
  • Establish positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a positive experience for all.
  • Manage projects and activities, including therapy sessions, report preparation, and data entry.
  • Monitor student plans and ensure compliance with established goals and objectives.
  • Prepare written documents and materials, such as correspondence, program descriptions, and parent notices.
  • Process new and referral students, ensuring timely enrollment and orientation to our program.
  • Provide ongoing feedback to relevant parties, ensuring all stakeholders are informed.
  • Research topics to provide information and recommendations on administrative requirements.
  • Translate verbal and written communication to facilitate effective communication among team members, students, and parents.
Requirements
  • Job-related experience is desired.
  • Bachelor's degree in a job-related area.
  • SLPA License.
  • IVP (Identity Verified Print) Fingerprint Clearance Card.
Working Conditions

This is a 180-day position with a starting salary of $25.84 per hour.
