Multidisciplinary Speech-Language Pathologist

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team at MLee Healthcare Staffing and Recruiting, Inc. In this crucial role within our rehabilitation department, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients of all ages by addressing communication and swallowing disorders. Your expertise and compassion will be essential in helping our patients achieve better health and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for patients with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions to patients, utilizing evidence-based practices and innovative techniques.
• Educate patients and their families about communication and swallowing disorders, offering strategies for continued progress outside of therapy sessions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting progress and modifying treatment plans as necessary.
Qualifications:
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in California.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
