Front Desk Representative

At Shaner Hotel Group, we are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at the Wellsworth Hotel in Southbridge, Massachusetts.
Job Summary:We are looking for a professional and enthusiastic individual to provide exceptional guest service, handle front desk operations, and maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Responsibilities:- Provide warm and friendly service to guests, ensuring a seamless and positive experience.
- Check-in and check-out guests, handle room assignments, and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Answer and direct phone calls, respond to guest inquiries, and provide information about hotel services and amenities.
- Process payments, handle cash and credit transactions, and maintain accurate records.
- Generate and distribute daily reports to designated departments and personnel.
- Resolve discrepancies on the room status report with Housekeeping.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Minimum one year customer service experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
- Computer experience preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
- Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.
