Strategic Human Resources Leader for MWH Constructors

MWH Constructors, a global project delivery company in heavy civil construction, is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Human Resources Leader to join their team. With a focus on water and wastewater treatment infrastructure, this position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the company's mission of delivering maximum value to clients and their local communities.

The anticipated base salary for this role is between $200,000-250,000 per year, depending on previous experience. Located at the corporate headquarters in Broomfield, CO, this position reports to the CFO and requires strong leadership abilities, outstanding communication skills, and exceptional public speaking and presentation skills.

Job Description:

This key role will lead the HR Department and develop and implement HR strategies that support the organization's overall business objectives. As a strategic partner to the executive leadership team, you will drive the organization's culture, human resources, and talent strategy, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in HR, talent management, and employee law.

You will provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related issues, including knowledgeable coaching to all levels throughout the organization. Your ability to find workable solutions to complex issues, lead and mentor the HR team members, and foster a positive and productive work environment will be essential to your success.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Four-year degree in human resources, organizational design, business administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of experience, skills, and training. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years' relevant HR experience leading the routine functions of an HR department.
  • Minimum 8 years of management experience.
  • Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification is preferred.
  • Proven work experience as an HR Director/VP of HR or a similar leadership position.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law at the federal, state, and local level, as well as HR best practices.
