Job Overview

Western Technologies, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Level II Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing Specialist to join our team in Albuquerque, NM. As a key member of our inspection team, you will be responsible for conducting non-destructive testing (NDT) services using phased array ultrasonic testing (PAUT), magnetic particle testing (MT), and penetrant testing (PT) techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform PAUT, MT, and PT inspections on various equipment and materials
  • Document inspection results and provide detailed reports
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless inspection processes
  • Develop and maintain expertise in API 650, API 1104, ASME B31.1, ASME B31.3, Sec. VIII, In-Line Inspection (ILI), FlexoFORM, HydroFORM, and Creaform
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in commercial and/or industrial construction inspection industries
  • Strong communication and report writing skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Clean motor vehicle record and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
  • Current holder of AWS-CWI certification a plus
