Facilities Maintenance Coordinator Role

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Coordinator to join our team at Array Technologies. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing routine building maintenance and minor repair tasks to ensure our physical plant operates at peak performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of heating, electrical, and air conditioning equipment, identifying areas for improvement and suggesting enhancements to management.
  • Identify and report complex maintenance needs to management, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing downtime.
  • Assist in the management of facilities projects, including budgeting, quoting, and vendor management, to ensure seamless execution.
  • Recommend building improvements and upgrades to enhance the overall facilities experience.
  • Maintain the exterior of the property, including snow removal and general upkeep of the landscape, to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
  • Perform minor carpentry, mechanical, and plumbing repairs, utilizing your technical skills to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Conduct monthly inspections of building safety systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Operate, plan, and purchase tools and equipment required to maintain and repair the facility, optimizing resource utilization and minimizing waste.
  • Assemble, repair, maintain, and move furniture and related fittings and fixtures, assisting in building layout planning to enhance workflow and productivity.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, providing timely updates to management and stakeholders.
  • Inspect facilities and grounds for safety and security, identifying potential hazards and reporting incidents promptly.
  • Serve as a liaison with facility vendors, including electrical, HVAC, and plumbing contractors, to ensure seamless communication and timely resolution of issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the facilities team.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of facilities maintenance experience
  • Basic math skills and ability to work with budgets
  • Strong interpersonal, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office
  • English language proficiency, including reading and comprehension
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in HVAC, electrical, or related fields
  • Experience with CMMS programming software
  • Intermediate project management skills

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to work in various weather conditions
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
