Job Title: Principal Application Engineer

Renesas Electronics is seeking a highly skilled Principal Application Engineer to join our Power Application Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing cutting-edge digital power management solutions for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-performance digital power management solutions for our customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development and launch.
  • Provide technical support and training to advance Renesas's commercial success.
  • Interface with key ASIC suppliers to understand requirements and ensure alignment in product development.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and product requirements.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Engineering or technical equivalent.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the power management industry.
  • Experience with firmware-enabled products and powering large-scale application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs) in the data center market.
  • Experience with multiphase DC/DC converters powering Intel/AMD/SoC systems.
  • Mixed-signal Integrated Circuit/System knowledge/experience.
  • Experience with digitally enabled power management products.
  • Understanding of control loop theory and its application in power converters.
  • Proficiency with a full complement of lab equipment including network analyzers, oscilloscopes, and waveform generators.
  • Experience with automation of lab testing.
