Role Summary:

We are in search of an Employee Benefits Coordinator to join our Human Resources team. The primary responsibility of this role involves managing benefit programs, which encompass medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, Health Savings Accounts (HSA), and 401(k) plans. As a vital member of Pureflow's HR department, this position also includes a variety of HR functions and necessitates confidentiality, teamwork, professional communication, meticulous attention to detail, and outstanding customer service for all staff members, while navigating relevant timelines and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify the accuracy of all benefits enrollments in the HR Information System (HRIS) to ensure correct eligibility information is provided to insurance carriers.
  • Examine invoices from insurance providers for accuracy and generate necessary reports for billing and allocation.
  • Manage benefits-related processes for onboarding and offboarding employees, including COBRA administration.
  • Address employee inquiries regarding benefits, including plan details, enrollment, status changes, and other general questions, while assisting with necessary updates.
  • Interpret FMLA and ADA implications effectively and manage leave-of-absence requests and disability documentation.
  • Support the annual open enrollment process.
  • Handle weekly time entries, attendance tracking, and related reporting, including Paid Time Off (PTO) and leave hours.
  • Assist with ACA reporting and the distribution of required notices.
  • Disseminate all benefits communications and materials to enhance employee understanding of Pureflow's offerings.
  • Coordinate wellness initiatives aimed at increasing employee engagement and optimizing benefits utilization.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding HSA and 401(k) plans, including enrollments, contributions, and plan features.
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations concerning benefits administration.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources is preferred; PHR/SPHR or SHRM-SCP/SHRM-CP certification is advantageous.
  • Demonstrates a collaborative spirit and thrives in a team-oriented atmosphere.
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of employee benefits and relevant laws.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
