Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting our pharmacists in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Pharmacists: Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including filling prescriptions, verifying medication, and checking for potential interactions.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels, ordering supplies, and ensuring that the pharmacy is stocked with necessary medications and equipment.
  • Clinical Support: Assist pharmacists with clinical services, including collecting and labeling blood/urine samples, and supporting the coordination of clinical services.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to ensure seamless operations, including communicating with pharmacists, technicians, and other staff members.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 6 months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
  • Certification: PTCB or ExCPT certification preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and basic math skills.
