Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Go-to-Market Strategy: Define a clear go-to-market strategy for the Space and Defense segment, including identifying new markets, partners, channels, and customers.
  • Build Customer Intimacy: Develop customer intimacy with key OEMs and government agencies, including understanding their needs and preferences.
  • Drive Profitable Revenues: Execute strategy to drive profitable revenues for the company, including leading Customer Business Teams and developing growth strategies.
  • Lead Government Relations: Lead the Government Relations function for the Americas Business Team, including leveraging congressional support and building deep understanding of the DoD acquisition process.
  • Build Relationships: Build relationships with key executives to generate and develop ideas, pursue opportunities, and close sales.
  • Market Analysis: Develop a strong understanding of the Space & Defense market and competitive landscape, including working with the Product Management team and Marketing Communication to develop effective promotional materials.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a business-related, composites or chemical engineering major.
  • Experience: 15+ years of business-to-business sales experience, including leadership experience, such as working as a Sales Lead, General Manager, Sales VP or Sr. Director.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and sales skills, highly effective communicator and collaborator, analytical skills to evaluate data and use it to make decisions, understanding of market trends and adaptability to follow those trends, motivational and influential, problem-solving, customer service, strategic planning, and strong organizational skills.
