We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Server Assistant to join our team at The Boar's Head Resort. As a key member of our Mill Room team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Servers: Provide support to our servers by running food, water service, and bussing tables in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Stock and Maintain: Stock individual stations with necessary supplies and maintain the kitchen area by keeping it clean and organized.
  • Provide Quality Service: Deliver exceptional customer service by attending to tables, running food, and filling coffee and creamers as needed.
  • Set and Reset Tables: Set and reset tables according to our high standards for the next seating.
  • Follow Opening and Closing Duties: Perform assigned opening and closing duties, such as polishing and stocking silverware, preparing bread, folding napkins, and cleaning the kitchen.

Requirements:

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess a polite and friendly manner when interacting with customers.
  • Neat and Clean Appearance: Maintain a neat and clean appearance and adhere to rules for sanitary food service.
  • Ability to Work Efficiently: Demonstrate the ability to work quickly and efficiently to provide prompt service.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Customer Service Experience: At least 3 months of customer service experience.
  • Restaurant Experience: Preference given to those with previous experience working in a restaurant.
