Backwaiter

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Backwaiter to join our team at The Boar's Head Resort. As a Backwaiter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Mill Room restaurant.

• Food and Beverage Service: Assist servers in delivering exceptional customer service by running food, water, and coffee to guests, while maintaining a clean and efficient table environment.
• Table Maintenance: Clear dirty dishes, keep side stations clean, and restock supplies as needed.
• Support Servers: Attend tables, run food, and fill coffee and creamers to ensure seamless service.
• Set and Reset Tables: Prepare tables for the next seating, adhering to our high standards.
• Opening and Closing Duties: Assist with polishing silverware, preparing bread, folding napkins, cleaning the kitchen, and restocking china and glassware.

• Excellent Communication Skills: Provide polite and friendly interactions with customers.
• Attention to Detail: Maintain a neat and clean appearance, adhering to sanitary food service standards.
• Efficiency and Punctuality: Work quickly and efficiently to provide prompt service, meeting the needs of our guests.
• Availability: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Experience: At least 3 months of customer service experience, with a preference for those with previous restaurant experience.
