Backwaiter

We are looking to add an outgoing back waiter to the Mill Room team at the Boar's Head Resort As a back waiter, you will be responsible for assisting servers in the restaurant by running food, water service, and bussing tables all while providing quality customer service according to Forbes Travel Guide and AAA Four Diamond Service Expectations. Some essential job functions include, but are not limited to:

• Stock individual stations with appropriate supplies for expected business volumes.
• Serve water and coffee as needed for guests and maintain the table as per standards in a neat and efficient manner.
• Clear dirty dishes from tables and keep the side stations clean by clearing the trays and running to the dish area.
• Maintain kitchen area by stocking all the necessary items and keeping it clean.
• Assist Servers as needed by attending the table, running food and filling coffee and creamers.
• Set and re-set tables as per the standards for the next seating.
• Follow opening and closing duties assigned, such as polishing and stocking silverware, preparing bread, folding napkins, cleaning the kitchen, restocking china glass, etc.

• Polite, friendly manner when interacting with customers.
• Neat, clean appearance and willingness to follow rules for sanitary food service.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently to provide prompt service.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
• At least 3 months of customer service experience.
• Preference given to those with previous experience working in a restaurant.
