Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to safety regulations by wearing required protective gear in compliance with OSHA standards.
  • Maintain physical stamina to stand or walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Guide individuals in diverse settings, including construction sites and office environments.
  • Process requests for visitor access and manage site entry protocols.
  • Assist in preliminary background checks by gathering necessary documentation and conducting fingerprinting. Collaborate with security personnel to perform basic facility inspections, ensuring compliance with security protocols and operational functionality of security equipment.
  • Report any suspicious activities to the appropriate authorities.
  • Issue identification badges for various locations, manage access to sensitive areas, and verify authorized personnel according to established criteria.
  • Utilize relevant IT equipment necessary for job functions.
Qualifications
  • Must be a US Citizen with a Top Secret Clearance.
  • Flexibility to work varying schedules is essential.
  • Experience in access control is required.
Work Environment
This role is primarily conducted indoors, characterized by a low to moderate noise level. The position requires the ability to stand for long durations, walk, sit, and use hands for various tasks. The incumbent may occasionally lift or move items weighing up to 25 lbs. Specific vision capabilities necessary for the role include close vision, distance vision, color perception, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Travel to various locations may be required.
