Job Summary

Chenega Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Visitor Control Center Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for the issuance and revocation of employee badges and the processing of U.S. and Foreign National personnel visiting our facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain, issue, and retrieve identification badges, access cards, and vehicle parking tags, and other security-related items.
  • Operate the Security Management System (SMS) for badging and access control.
  • Prepare and issue temporary government employee, contractor, and visitor RKB badges, including entering data into computer systems and maintaining records.
  • Conduct daily inventory and account for all badges, establishing and sustaining an effective tracking system for lost or stolen badges.
  • Analyze the reasons for lost and/or missing badges and make recommendations for corrective action.
  • Enroll and disenroll employees and visitors into the DBIDS, capturing photographs, fingerprints, or amplifying personal information as required.
  • Assist with directing visiting personnel to their destination by coordinating with visitor POC.
Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI clearance required.
  • Minimum of one year of relevant work experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Skill in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize and work on projects independently.
  • Proficient in a variety of computer software applications, including the Microsoft Office suite (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook.
Work Environment
  • Normal work environment is a temperature-controlled office environment with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment.
  • May be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions during visits to areas of operations.
