Cortica is seeking a skilled Behavior Interventionist to provide direct behavior therapy services to individuals with autism. As part of a multidisciplinary treatment team, you will work to implement positive behavior strategies and provide support to children and their families.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Attending Cortica's orientation and completing Board-Certified Autism Technician (BCAT) training
  • Providing direct implementation of behavior-analytic services to children with autism spectrum disorder and other neurodevelopmental differences
  • Implementing positive behavior strategies as developed and analyzed with the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Working in various settings, including the home, community, school, clinic, or other designated areas, to provide direct behavior-analytic care
  • Fulfilling all documentation requirements, including data collection and session notes
  • Assisting with individualized assessment procedures through preference assessments and data collection
  • Working with families and supervisors to establish a supportive environment for treatment and education
  • Following Cortica's crisis and emergency procedures, including de-escalation strategies and first aid
  • Serving as a representative of the Cortica Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) program, demonstrating professionalism in communication and dress

We are looking for candidates who have experience working with children, preferably those with autism. Ideal candidates will possess a bachelor's degree in a human service field or have relevant work experience. A Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) or Board-Certified Autism Technician (BCAT) certification is preferred, but not required. We offer a competitive compensation package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and tuition reimbursements for professional development.

The base direct pay range for this opening is $20.57 to $27.60, with indirect pay at $16.85 per hour. According to your relevant experience, education level, and location, you will receive compensation that fits appropriately within the range.
