PROJECT MANAGEMENT SUPPORT ROLE:

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the formulation and administration of detailed task orders.

Support technical evaluations of contractor proposals and project plans.

Facilitate pre-bid activities, including contractor walkthroughs as necessary.

Participate in design and implementation reviews, providing comprehensive feedback from the engineering and user community.

Process Requests for Information (RFIs) and Change Orders through the appropriate channels.

Verify project completion to facilitate invoice payments and conduct project inspections.

Manage the tracking and distribution of shop drawings and other submissions, maintaining an official log and records.

Assemble shop drawings and data submissions, preparing Design Release Authorizations (DRAs) for the Engineering Documentation Center (EDC).


Prepare and submit operational and real property turnover documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant forms.

Provide cost and schedule analysis to support contractor payment requests, invoice verification, and cost claims. Review project schedules and value updates with the Construction Manager monthly. Collect input from contractors and the supporting team to establish project milestones. Deliver weekly project status updates.

Coordinate and ensure operational support for Activation and Validation tests.

Develop deliverable item lists and turnover documentation packages for inclusion in Requests for Proposals (RFPs) issued to fixed-price contracts.

Facilitate operational support for contractor activities, including outages and testing of protective systems.

Maintain a log of pre-priced items and other support expenditures, making it available to the relevant authorities.

Lead the resolution of project-related issues through direct engagement with project representatives.

Conduct thorough investigations of issues encountered during project execution.


Ensure effective relationships are established and maintained among customers, partners, and contractors to support the delivery of construction services.


Identify and initiate requests for supporting task orders from prime contractors in alignment with fixed-price contracts.


Gather compliance information from contractors and communicate readiness to the appropriate representatives.

Work under a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience of 5 years in a related field. Proficiency in Excel, Word, or data entry is required.

Must demonstrate the ability to work independently and efficiently; manage multiple priorities; and input project data into the management system.

Provide direct support to Contracting Officer's Representatives (CORs).

Self-assign and execute necessary actions to facilitate task orders or contracts as directed.

Experience in facilities management is advantageous.
