Join AdventHealth Tampa as a Cardiac Sonographer PRN

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer PRN to join our team at AdventHealth Tampa. As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing echocardiography examinations on neonatal through gerontologic patients, ensuring quality performance of echocardiography examinations, and adhering to the quality assurance/improvement program by departmental policy in accordance with Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) standards.

About the Role
  • Perform echocardiography examinations by departmental policy in accordance to the standards outlined by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) and the American Society of Echocardiography.
  • Ensure quality performance of echocardiography examinations adhering to the quality assurance/improvement program by departmental policy in accordance with Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) standards.
  • Perform at a high technical level, a variety of cardiovascular ultrasound procedures on neonatal through gerontologic patients.
  • Has the latitude for independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative.
  • Assists physicians, selects practical applications and technical factors, and is knowledgeable in and carries out all applicable processes of the department.

Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalency.
  • Graduate Cardiovascular ultrasound program.
  • Registered in appropriate cardiac ultrasound modality.
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS).
