Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at AdventHealth Carrollwood. As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic procedures to assess cardiac structures and hemodynamics, including echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms, and stress echocardiograms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic procedures to assess cardiac structures and hemodynamics
  • Maintain supply inventory and restock to maintain proper operating levels
  • Set up and adjust imaging equipment, while manually maneuvering transducers to perform exams
  • Implement safety standards and perform appropriate quality control procedures
  • Perform routine and complex studies, in addition to assisting with a variety of imaging procedures
Requirements
  • Technical/Vocational School
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Diagnostic Sonographer Credentialing accepted from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), or Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (ACS)
