We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at AdventHealth Tampa. As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the advancement of cardiovascular medicine.

About the Role

This Per Diem position is responsible for performing echocardiography examinations in accordance with departmental policy and IAC standards. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Perform echocardiography examinations on neonatal through gerontologic patients
  • Ensure quality performance of echocardiography examinations adhering to quality assurance/improvement program
  • Assist physicians and select practical applications and technical factors
  • Teach and direct the work of other staff and students as required
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • High school graduate or equivalency
  • Graduate of a Cardiovascular Ultrasound program
  • Registered in appropriate cardiac ultrasound modality
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)
