Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all production areas, including equipment, tanks, walls, floors, hoses, transfer lines, clamps, and gaskets.
  • Understand and apply proper handling and application practices of various sanitation chemicals.
  • Read and understand chemical warnings.
  • Disassemble equipment and tank valves for cleaning purposes and reassemble when sanitized.
  • Work independently with limited supervision.
  • Comply with all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Communicate with supervisors on location needs for sanitation.
  • Ensure proper labeling on all sanitation equipment and tanks.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily sanitation activities.

Requirements:

  • High School or General Equivalency Diploma required.
  • Current driver's license and satisfactory driving history.
  • Must be 21 years or older and have a history of responsible alcohol use and fitness to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and/or local regulatory bodies.
  • Organized and detail-oriented with ability to balance multiple demands and competing priorities.
  • Self-motivated team player able to work independently.
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Ability to stand, lift, bend, kneel, twist, pull, push, and walk on uneven ground during work shift.

Compensation and Benefits:

$18.50/hour. At Ste. Michelle Wine Estates, we believe in paying our employees equal pay for equal work. Individual offers are made dependent upon a candidate's prior experience and education level as it pertains to the role.
