We are seeking a highly driven and technically proficient General Ledger Accountant to enhance our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent collaboration and communication skills, be detail-oriented, and engage effectively with various stakeholders across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee specific components of our month-end closing cycle, including the preparation, review, and posting of general journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly financial analysis.
  • Manage designated closing processes and associated SOX controls to ensure a swift and compliant close through best practices.
  • As part of a global team, provide backup support for accounting functions across different areas.
  • Assist business stakeholders in Sales and Marketing, Engineering, and select G&A functions from an accounting perspective.
  • Within the Accounting department, develop, implement, and sustain scalable processes, policies, and controls both within the team and across departments.
  • Support both external and internal audits by providing necessary data and collaborating effectively with other teams.
  • Contribute to various projects as they arise, including system implementations and integrations, which involve defining requirements, testing, rollout, and training.
  • Create and maintain detailed desktop procedures.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • At least 3 years of accounting experience, combining public accounting and industry experience in a SOX environment.
  • Familiarity with US GAAP.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proven experience working across time zones and collaborating with team members in various geographic locations.
  • Knowledge of SOX environment, controls, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with ERP systems and a strong desire to maximize existing tools while identifying automation opportunities.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in accounting within a multinational SaaS organization is preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Certified Public Accountant designation.
  • Experience in project management and team leadership is highly desirable.
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities as business needs evolve.
  • Strong motivation and a proactive work ethic.
  • Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Collaborative communication style, capable of working cross-functionally with individuals at various organizational levels and diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite is a plus.

The base salary range for this position is 84,000 USD. This role may also be eligible for bonus, commission, equity, and/or benefits.
