Overview:
We are excited to announce a new opening for a proficient Technical Engineering Specialist. This role is essential in maintaining operational efficiency by enhancing equipment reliability and optimizing process performance. As a vital member of our team, you will engage in engineering initiatives that involve supporting machinery reliability, conducting evaluations, and executing engineering strategies.
Work Environment: 100% Onsite
Work Schedule: Second Shift (3pm-12am)
Compensation: $75,000 - $90,000 plus performance-based bonuses
Key Responsibilities:
- Equipment Management: Oversee and enhance the functionality of plant machinery (including robotics, automated welding systems, and sensor technologies).
- Technical Troubleshooting: Identify and rectify technical challenges related to machinery and operational processes.
- Data Management: Execute tests and experiments, document findings, and assist in the interpretation of results.
- Documentation: Generate and maintain necessary reports and technical records.
- Project Support: Aid in the planning, execution, and finalization of projects, collaborating closely with engineers and team members.
- Safety Standards: Comply with safety regulations and promote a secure working atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Engineering Technology (Mechanical or Electrical) or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of 2 years in a technical role as an engineering technician or similar position.
- Ability to acquire a range of technical competencies with sensors, robotic controls, PLCs, etc. Familiarity with various testing and diagnostic tools is advantageous.
- Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving aptitude.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of precision and attention to detail.
- Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Experience in lean manufacturing practices is a plus.
