About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Nursing Supervisor to join our team at Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley, CA. This is a full-time position that will work Day shift.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide an optimal practice environment that ensures the delivery of quality patient care.
  • Responsible for planning, directing and managing the nursing care delivered to a designated patient population on one or more nursing units.
  • Oversee the operation of the patient care unit with accountability for leadership, budget preparation and overall fiscal management, staffing, planning, organizing and controlling.
  • Role model proactive, collaborative working relationships across all hospital functions in an interdisciplinary approach to patient care.
  • Develop programs, policies, procedures, and standards of care to ensure patient's nursing care needs are assessed, evaluated, and met.
Requirements
  • California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Provider PALS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • 3 years experience in an acute hospital environment.
  • 2 years experience in the specialty unit (Emergency).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Master's Degree.
  • 2 years Management experience.
