Experience Requirements:

  • At least 7 years of dedicated experience with Blue Yonder's Transportation Management Systems, Warehouse Management Systems, or Warehouse Labor Management systems, either as a client or as a consultant.
  • Experience with other prominent supply chain planning solutions like HighJump, Manhattan, or SAP may be advantageous.
  • Preferred background in management consulting or a Supply Chain Center.
  • Experience in sectors such as Manufacturing, Retail, or 3PL is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of Supply Chain processes related to Transportation Management.
  • Hands-on experience with TMS applications (e.g., Red Prairie, i2, or advanced TMS applications from other vendors).
  • Understanding of configuration versus customization complexities in their area of expertise.
  • Proficient in process mapping.
  • Able to design functional solutions and business processes for large or complex clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify business improvement opportunities and propose suitable solutions.
  • Basic SQL knowledge and familiarity with programming concepts.
  • Thorough understanding of cloud technologies.
  • Experience in sales/pre-sales activities and collaboration with Product Development.
  • Strong project management skills (certification preferred) and mentoring capabilities.

Core Responsibilities:

As an end-to-end architect in the execution vertical, with a focus on Blue Yonder Transportation Management Systems, you will also need a solid understanding of Warehouse Management and Warehouse Labor Management systems for clients across the Americas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a solution expert for transformational projects and programs.
  • Assist in identifying change management efforts required for global or regional program implementations.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations for various audiences, including users, management, and executives.
  • Guide and influence clients regarding industry best practices and process methodologies.
  • Estimate the effort required for implementation tasks and recommend appropriate roles for execution.
  • Assess business needs that fall outside standard solutions and evaluate integration complexities.
  • Facilitate discussions on product functionality and architecture across the suite of products.
  • Provide level 3 non-technical support during the implementation phase and ensure system functionality and data integrity.
  • Identify and highlight incremental revenue opportunities with existing clients/projects.
  • Serve as a functional liaison in key meetings with project managers, solution architects, and customer stakeholders.
  • Communicate business cases regarding specific customer needs related to product functionality and enhancements.
  • Ensure knowledge transfer is effectively conducted with the key customer project team.
  • Stay updated on new releases and functionalities and communicate them effectively.
  • Guide the development and execution of test scripts to ensure software meets customer objectives.
  • Understand how Blue Yonder transportation solutions can be configured to best support customer business processes.
  • Support project planning efforts and create detailed tasks and estimates.
  • Communicate gaps in application capabilities to relevant departments.
  • Develop and validate test plans and scripts to ensure software meets customer objectives.
  • Create and modify procedural and system documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure the system meets required business functions and maintains data integrity.
  • Communicate business cases to product management regarding trends for future enhancements.
  • Maintain current knowledge about Blue Yonder and competitor software.
  • Provide input into pre-sales activities, including demonstrations and documentation support.

Required Skills:

  • Strong business analysis skills, with an understanding of statistical algorithms and inventory optimization concepts.
  • Ability to prepare and deliver presentations effectively to various audiences.

Education:

  • Advanced degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, or Operations Research is preferred.
  • A Bachelor's degree with relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of an advanced degree.
