The University of Washington Medical Center - Montlake is offering an exceptional opportunity for an ADVANCED CARDIOVASCULAR TECHNOLOGIST (CVT) within the ELECTROPHYSIOLOGY (EP) LAB. Our department is recognized for its expertise in managing complex interventions.
- Full-time position, 100% FTE, 40 hours per week
- Day Shift, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, with a rotating day off.
Staff may opt for 'Late Stay' to ensure predictability in managing cases that extend beyond standard operating hours.
This role necessitates outstanding communication abilities with healthcare providers and colleagues regarding changes in patient conditions, including hemodynamic monitoring and symptom assessment.
Responsibilities include:
- Engaging in performance improvement and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives within the department.
Qualifications include:
- A minimum of 1 year of EP experience and an Associate of Arts (AA) degree from an accredited Interventional Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) program, along with registration by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) and licensure by the State of Washington as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (CIS).
- Alternatively, 1 year of EP experience and an Associate of Arts (AA) degree from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program, registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), and licensure by the State of Washington as a Radiologic Technologist (RT).
