Key Responsibilities

  • Assessment and Planning: Evaluate new patients thoroughly and create tailored care plans.
  • Patient Treatment: Implement treatment strategies and establish measurable, functional goals for recovery.
  • Patient Education: Inform patients about their treatment options and guide them on home exercise routines.
  • Supervision: Oversee aides and monitor the progress of patients throughout their treatment.
  • Pain Management: Address pain management as a critical aspect of patient care.
  • Discharge Planning: Determine appropriate discharge times and instruct patients on safe mechanics and strategies.
  • Documentation: Maintain timely and precise records of patient interactions and treatment plans.
  • Productivity Goals: Achieve a reasonable level of productivity while maintaining quality care.
  • Research Participation: Engage in research initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical protocols.
  • Policy Input: Provide feedback on organizational policies and procedures.
  • Patient Relations: Address patient feedback and concerns with professionalism and promptness.
  • Professional Development: Commit to ongoing skills enhancement by staying informed about the latest research and techniques.
Qualifications
  • Education: Master's Degree or higher in Physical Therapy.
  • Certification: Valid certification from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Interventional Pain.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Any of the following certifications are advantageous:
    • Wellness Coaching Certification
    • Clinical Exercise Physiologist Certification
    • Certified Cardiac Rehabilitation Professional Certification
