Position Description

Under the general supervision of the Clinical Manager, the Medical Assistant provides efficient and compassionate patient care.

This includes timely rooming of patients, EMR documentation, and message processing as needed.

The Medical Assistant works collaboratively with providers, managers, and staff to promote quality and cost-effective daily operations.

This role requires establishing and maintaining good interpersonal relationships with patients, their families, the public, and coworkers.

Requirements
  • Current Medical Assistant Certification or completion of a Medical Assistant Program.
  • Current Basic Life Support Certification.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform EKGs and obtain accurate vital signs both manually and with a vital sign monitor.
  • Demonstrated experience in a physician office and computer use.
  • Demonstrated competence in interpersonal and intra-professional relations.
  • Demonstrated commitment to collaboration with physicians to individualize and enhance patient care.
  • Demonstrated competence in acute care patient management/organization.

Pay Range: $17.00-$21.00 DOE
