Job Summary:

As an Avionics and Electrical Systems Installation Specialist at Leonardo Helicopters, you will provide engineering support for the installation of avionics and electrical systems on our products. Your expertise will be essential in defining wire routing, wire grouping, and documentation with drawings or other documentation. You will also be responsible for defining connector assembly and parts specifications with EMI-RFI and HIRF requirements consideration. Additionally, you will witness and conduct testing to verify the proper operation of installed avionics and electrical equipment.

Responsibilities:

* Provide engineering support for avionics and electrical installations on Leonardo products
* Define wire routing, wire grouping, and documentation with drawings or other documentation
* Define connector assembly and parts specifications with EMI-RFI and HIRF requirements consideration
* Witness and conduct testing to verify the proper operation of installed avionics and electrical equipment
* Participate in project teams and activities related to the development of new completions and modifications
* Support certification efforts for avionics and electrical equipment installation
* Provide support to hanger fault investigations

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering or a related field
* 4 years of experience in an engineering occupation
* 4 years of experience in avionics and electrical systems installations
* 4 years of experience in avionics testing
* 4 years of experience in design, repair, and analysis of electrical systems
* 4 years of experience with more than one Avionic System
* 1 year of experience using Autocad or similar design software
* 1 year of experience in Electrical System Troubleshooting

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with modeling simulation tools
* Knowledge of electronic circuit technology
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
* Experience with lap-top computers for data logging and digital bus readers
