Job Summary:

The Medical Assistant II, Certified provides clinical and administrative support to healthcare providers and teams in an outpatient clinic setting. This role requires a strong foundation in medical assisting principles and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine clinical tasks, including rooming and intake processes, vital sign collection, and data entry.
Assist healthcare providers with treatments, examinations, and procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient patient experience.
Collect and process specimens, administer medications, and perform tests under the direction of a provider.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and efficient clinic operations.

Requirements:

Medical Assistant certification by a recognized accrediting agency (e.g., AAMA, AMT, NCMA).
Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
At least one year of full-time experience as a Medical Assistant, Certified.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient clinic environment.
