Position Overview

As a vital member of our newly formed Digital Factory team, you will represent our company to clients, primarily engineers and product developers focused on creating the next generation of products for their organizations.

A significant part of your role will involve collaborating closely with clients, helping them understand the capabilities of our technology and how to leverage it effectively.

You possess a solid foundation in design engineering and are a resourceful problem solver, capable of communicating effectively with customers, sales teams, and fellow engineers. Most importantly, you thrive in an environment where you assist clients in pushing the limits of manufacturing to create innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

· Serve as the technical liaison to facilitate sales initiatives

· Lead technical aspects of collaborative customer projects

· Conduct testing and analysis as part of joint customer endeavors

· Evaluate, provide insights on, and refine models submitted by current and prospective clients

· Utilize cutting-edge software tools to design components that showcase the full potential of Inkbit's platform

· Prepare multi-material components for production on in-house printers

· Assist sales efforts through customer engagement and follow-ups, while proactively supporting operations to ensure timely and precise order fulfillment.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline with 3-5+ years of relevant experience

· Proficiency in modern CAD/CAE software such as Solidworks or OnShape

· Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients from non-engineering backgrounds

· Capability to manage and report on collaborative development projects with clients

Preferred Skills

· Experience in additive manufacturing

· Familiarity with nTopology

· Background in design engineering utilizing topology optimization or generative design
