Tree Care Crew Leader

BrightView Landscape Services is seeking a skilled and experienced professional to lead our tree care crew. As a leader, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient execution of tree care services, maintaining high standards of quality, and promoting a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise tree care service activities, ensuring crew members have necessary safety materials, training, and tools to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Review and manage crew schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Conduct daily pre-trip inspections to ensure Class B equipment is in good working condition.
  • Coordinate with branch management, customers, and employees as needed to ensure seamless operations.
  • Operate heavy equipment and use tree and landscaping tools as required.
  • Drive crews to and from jobs, adhering to company safety policies and ensuring public safety.
Requirements:
  • 3 years of experience in tree care or related services.
  • Good driving record and valid CDL license class B.
  • Experience managing a crew consisting of climbers and grounds men.
  • Supervisory experience and medical card with first aid and CPR certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) skills.
  • Strong work ethic and effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Leadership skills and familiarity with landscaping techniques and equipment.
  • Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including weather conditions, heavy lifting, and extensive walking.
