About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Janitorial Operations Supervisor to join our team at California's Great America. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our park, including back areas and event facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee Special Crew Operations: Ensure that park and department standards for health and safety are maintained, and that all special crew operations are conducted in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Scheduling and Personnel Management: Perform scheduling, assignment, and monitoring of personnel to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Associate Training and Development: Be responsible for the training, certification, motivation, and performance management of associates to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties effectively.
  • Cleanliness and Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of back areas and event facilities, including the operation of various power tools, small machinery, and equipment.
  • Waste and Recycling Management: Be responsible for the collection, handling, and transfer of waste and recyclables.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Previous leadership experience or training is an asset.
  • Valid California Driver's License: A valid California driver's license is required.
  • Communication Skills: The ability to follow and issue both oral and written instructions clearly is essential.
  • Passion for Great America: A passion and excitement about Great America and its mission is required.
  • Availability: Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays is necessary.
