Adult Psychiatrist

Allina Health is seeking a skilled Psychiatrist to lead our Adult Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization programs. As a key member of our Mental Health and Addiction Clinical Service Line, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine their appropriateness for our programs and develop individualized treatment plans that address their mental health needs.
- Direct Clinical Care: Provide direct clinical care to patients, including brief assessments and interventions, to support their recovery and well-being.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with our treatment team, including therapists, RNs, and program assistants, to develop and implement treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
- Staff Education and Development: Develop and lead educational programs for staff on psychiatric issues and best practices in patient care.
- Education and Licensure: MD, DO, or foreign equivalency training required; BE/BC with ABMS or AOA required; active, non-restricted medical license in MN (or ability to obtain).
- Certifications and Credentials: ability to obtain and/or maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI); ability to meet criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and hospital privileges, if applicable.
