Position Summary:
The Financial Accountant will implement and uphold best practices in financial management, reporting, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will execute a range of accounting functions with accuracy and efficiency, including the preparation of monthly financial reports, conducting analyses, and supporting financial audits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Executing various financial tasks from inception to completion, including data entry, reporting, reconciliation, and financial analysis.
- Conducting monthly account reconciliations and maintaining comprehensive general ledgers.
- Daily reconciliation of bank accounts.
- Overseeing and reconciling cash activities across all operational sites.
- Assisting in the timely and precise preparation of financial statements.
- Preparing, entering, and modifying journal entries as necessary.
- Proposing enhancements and improvements to current processes.
- Addressing day-to-day accounting inquiries and performing other ad hoc reporting and duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience in account reconciliations and financial analysis.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-driven with the capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
