Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team at Beatrix Oak Brook. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, including training, recruiting, and administrative duties.

Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: Ensure day-to-day business operations run smoothly, including managing inventory, tracking sales, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance and leadership to hourly and management teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Customer Service: Respond immediately and effectively to guest and employee needs and feedback, ensuring an exceptional guest experience.
  • Financial Management: Assist the General Manager in managing costs, driving sales, and growing the business in support of financial goals.
  • Human Resources: Partner with the General Manager and management team to interview, hire, onboard, train, supervise, and develop all BOH employees and teams as needed.
  • Inventory Management: Perform regular and ad hoc inventories of food, beverage, and restaurant supplies, track high-cost items, and place orders as needed.
  • Teamwork: Model and promote teamwork across all teams, using tact and good judgment when dealing with challenges.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of restaurant management experience
  • 2+ years of AGM experience in a full-service restaurant
  • Skilled in leading and developing teams
  • Experienced with inventory and BOH systems
