Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Production Assistant to join our team at ITRADE STEM in Fort Lauderdale. As a key member of our production team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of our creative designs into real products.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Collaboration

Work closely with our graphic designers to transform creative ideas into ready-to-use files, taking into account the requirements for various printing methods and materials.

Collaborate with our production teams to set up machines and processes for efficient manufacturing, requiring a solid understanding of basic industrial practices.

Utilize graphic design software like Adobe Creative Suite to verify design feasibility and make necessary adjustments, ensuring designs meet production standards and align with our team's capabilities.

Improve processes in light manufacturing, manage resources, and troubleshoot issues, considering the impact of materials and methods on the final product.

Quality Control

Conduct thorough reviews of graphic products to ensure they meet client expectations, checking for correct colors, clarity, and design before production.

Ensure the manufacturing process adheres to quality guidelines, guaranteeing uniformity in all final products.

Project Management

Manage project timelines to ensure graphic designs are completed on schedule and necessary resources are available for production, employing effective planning skills to balance creative and production schedules.

Collaborate with graphics, production, and project management teams to maintain project momentum and meet deadlines.

Problem-Solving and Adaptability

Address design issues during production, such as changes for different materials or printing methods, and resolve problems like equipment breakdowns or supply delays to maintain a smooth and efficient production process.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma is required; additional training or certifications in manufacturing or graphic design are highly valued.
  • Experience in manufacturing or light industrial is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using graphic design software and familiarity with machines are essential.
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset are necessary.
  • A keen attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work are essential.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, stand for extended periods, and lift heavy materials is required.
  • Flexibility to work extra hours when needed to meet deadlines is necessary.
