Job Title: Field Sales Representative

At AMS Retail Solutions, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Field Sales Representative to join our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Visit customers to provide exceptional service, advise on vendor products, and perform sales and support services in assigned stores.
  • Travel to customer locations to service vendor products, maintain product displays, and provide new product information.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, answer questions, and provide product application training.
  • Resolve customer complaints and vendor differences in a timely manner.
  • Facilitate sales, marketing, and promotional campaigns by acquainting accounts with the latest sales techniques.
  • Assist with placing special orders, managing inventory levels, and reporting weekly summaries of hours, location, and sales impact.
  • Comply with all AMS and customer policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Travel required, which may include overnight stays.
  • Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates, including weekends.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, written, and technical skills.
  • Valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
  • HS diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, including lifting weight above shoulders as needed.
  • Frequent standing, bending, and twisting required.
  • 2 years of vendor sales experience preferred.
  • 1 year of field sales/customer service experience preferred.
  • Bilingual speaking a plus (Spanish).
