The Payroll Specialist will be primarily responsible for the Rapid7 US Payroll, ensuring accurate and compliant processing in accordance with established payroll calendars and deadlines.
This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Process US payroll end to end in ADP WorkForce Now.
- Prioritize payroll processing according to approved payroll calendars and deadlines to ensure compliance.
- Audit payroll register to payroll inputs, research, and correct discrepancies.
- Partner with stakeholders across the organization as needed.
- Respond to internal customers' inquiries within assigned SLAs.
- Assist with month-end closing queries related to payrolls.
- Understand Rapid7's Leave policies and their relation to assigned payrolls for compliance and accurate payroll purposes.
- Access online banking systems to initiate funding payments for payroll, taxes, and benefits as designated per country.
- 2-4 years' experience supporting US multi-state payroll, Global payroll experience a plus.
- Experience with Exempt and Non-Exempt payrolls.
- General knowledge and understanding of 401k, Benefits, and US payroll legislation.
- Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets.
- Familiarity with general accounting principles.
- Commitment to excellent customer service and time management due to varying deadlines.
- Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to interact within all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and solid analytical skills.
- ADP WorkForce Now experience required, Workday experience a plus.
