Position: Business Systems Analyst

Your Role:

As a Business Systems Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring operational efficiency and project success. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with functional managers to create and maintain comprehensive project schedules utilizing MS Project.
  • Generating and overseeing summary-level schedule reports, including Gantt charts and milestone tracking, to facilitate critical path analysis and resource allocation.
  • Assisting the metrics team in the planning, monitoring, and reporting of various projects and programs.
  • Adhering to schedule version control protocols and procedures.
  • Working alongside project managers to enhance project execution efficiency and accuracy in reporting.
  • Estimating and updating schedules for both new and ongoing tasks.
  • Identifying key milestones, decision points, and significant project events.
  • Proactively troubleshooting and monitoring potential scheduling challenges.
  • Preparing and presenting weekly metrics to Project Managers and the PMO Manager.
  • Creating and maintaining SLIM scheduling reports.
  • Ensuring meticulous record-keeping and documentation.
  • Facilitating and engaging in regular schedule review meetings.
  • Demonstrating flexibility to work outside standard hours as necessary to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Management Information Systems or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience: A minimum of two years of relevant experience in metrics data analysis.
  • Familiarity with the management, operational, and technical aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Prior experience in collecting, analyzing, and presenting measurable performance metrics.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced software development setting.
  • Adept at quickly identifying and learning new technologies.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation abilities.
  • Experience in Medicaid or Healthcare Processing Systems is preferred.
  • Preferred Skills: Two or more years of hands-on project scheduling experience using MS Project, along with Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and familiarity with MS Project Server.
