Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeping, Accounting, and Auditing Clerk to join our team at Mindlance. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, performing routine calculations, and verifying the accuracy of financial data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including computing, classifying, and recording numerical data.
  • Perform routine calculations, postings, and verification of financial data to maintain accounting records.
  • Verify the accuracy of figures, calculations, and postings of business transactions.
  • Proficiently use Microsoft Office Software, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience working for a Federally-funded nutrition program, such as WIC.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced office setting, conducting a wide range of tasks to support program operations.
  • Experience working in a government setting.
  • Familiarity with New York State systems and specific terminology.
