Job Overview

ESC, Inc is seeking a highly skilled IT Specialist to support a brand new contract. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in coding and designing Job Control Language (JCL) and COBOL programming language. Additionally, the candidate should have expertise in creating and updating flow diagrams, architectural and technical designs, and using Unix, OMVS Unix Shell, Secure File Transfer Protocol, and Easytrieve.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop JCL and COBOL programming language solutions.
  • Create and update flow diagrams to ensure efficient system performance.
  • Develop architectural and technical designs to meet business requirements.
  • Utilize Unix, OMVS Unix Shell, Secure File Transfer Protocol, and Easytrieve to ensure seamless system operations.
Requirements
  • 84 months experience coding and designing JCL.
  • 84 months experience coding and designing COBOL programming language.
  • 48 months experience creating and updating flow diagrams.
  • 48 months experience in creating architectural and technical designs.
  • 84 months experience using Unix.
  • 84 months experience using OMVS Unix Shell.
  • 24 months experience Secure File Transfer Protocol.
  • 24 months experience using Easytrieve.
