Position Summary
The Electronics Test Technician will be integral to our product testing processes, focusing on both board and system-level products. This position requires a strong technical background to effectively diagnose and troubleshoot product failures.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct functional testing of the company's board and system-level products.
- Identify and troubleshoot board failures as necessary.
- Support engineering teams during prototype testing phases.
- Document detailed descriptions of failures identified during functional testing to aid in component-level troubleshooting.
- Adhere to established manufacturing processes and procedures to ensure product quality.
- Follow applicable work instructions to execute testing and repair tasks.
- Proactively identify issues and their root causes, participating in the development of effective solutions.
- Collaborate with supervisors and engineering staff to discuss technical and process-related challenges, recommending improvements for work efficiency.
- Escalate product and process concerns to management and assist in resolving issues.
- Maintain compliance with corporate safety and production protocols, ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications
- Electronics certification from an accredited two-year technical or four-year engineering institution.
- A minimum of two years of experience as an electronics technician in a manufacturing testing environment.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and identifying electronic and mechanical failure modes.
- Experience with test instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.
- Basic knowledge of networking principles.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, datasheets, and written instructions.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage job-related stress effectively.
- Fluency in English, with the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
- Capability to follow detailed written and oral instructions.

Physical and Mental Demands
