Certified Welding Inspector

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Welding Inspector to join our team at R.Kries. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our welding processes and products.

Your primary focus will be on conducting inspections and testing services to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. You will also be responsible for monitoring construction sites and fabrication facilities to ensure overall compliance with our quality management system.

In this role, you will work closely with our quality manager to report progress, activities, and observations. You will also be responsible for reviewing plans to ensure they meet building codes, local ordinances, and zoning regulations.

• Conduct inspections and testing services to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Monitor construction sites and fabrication facilities to ensure overall compliance with our quality management system
• Work closely with our quality manager to report progress, activities, and observations
• Review plans to ensure they meet building codes, local ordinances, and zoning regulations
• Use survey instruments, testing equipment, and other systems to ensure that products meet code and requirements

• CWI certification preferred
• 3-5 years of welding and miscellaneous fitting experience
• College/university graduate or equivalent combination of skills and experience
• Fully competent in all conventional aspects of subject matter or functional area
