Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Manager to oversee the operational performance of our restaurant during their shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating employee schedules, supervising staff, and assigning duties to ensure seamless restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Train and manage employees, assigning duties as needed to maintain a smooth workflow
  • Lead the team in providing exceptional customer service, resolving complaints in a professional manner
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and staff
  • Provide sales and productivity reports to upper management, ensuring accurate and timely data
  • Maintain inventory levels, reordering and restocking as necessary to meet customer demand
  • Cover shifts of absent employees, ensuring continuity of service
  • Work in the kitchen as part of the team, ensuring all crew members have assigned duties and tasks are completed efficiently
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous food service experience, preferably in a management role
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, restaurant management software, and POS systems
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure, with excellent management and leadership skills
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a valid driver's license (preferred)
