OrthoCarolina is seeking a Part-Time Patient Services Specialist to join our team at our OrthoCarolina Pineville office location. This role is responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patient paperwork and forms for timely and accurate processing of patient claims.
- Answer incoming phone calls, direct calls, make appointments, and perform cashier duties as directed.
- Collect and verify patient information, including co-payments, co-insurance, and balances due.
- Follow established procedures for release of medical information and FMLA/disability forms completion.
- High school graduate or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum one year experience in a medical clinic setting preferred.
- Good customer and computer skills, with working knowledge of insurance and medical terminology.
