Position Summary

Under the general supervision of the Executive Chef and Sous Chef, the Line Cook plays a vital role in supporting all kitchen operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of daily activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Availability for weekend and evening shifts is essential.
  • Prepare dishes following the club's recipes and standards.
  • Organize service areas with necessary items for efficient operation.
  • Serve food according to established portion sizes and presentation guidelines.
  • Communicate with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef regarding anticipated shortages.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of assigned work areas and equipment.
  • Assist in upholding safety and security protocols within the kitchen.
  • Set up and dismantle cooking stations as required.
  • Request necessary items for menu preparation and special dishes.
  • Comply with local and state health and safety regulations.
  • Properly cover, date, and store all reusable leftover products.
  • Support other tasks as assigned by the Executive Chef or Sous Chef.
Qualifications

Prior experience in a golf club or country club setting is preferred.
