Responsibilities:

* Receive and prioritize room assignments from the supervisor
* Follow sign-in/out procedures for key access to rooms
* Check the inventory of cleaning carts and add necessary supplies
* Knock and announce yourself before entering rooms, and return at a later time if rooms are occupied
* Notify the supervisor of any damage or strong odors in rooms
* Remove linens, towels, bedspreads, and blankets from assigned rooms and provide fresh replacements
* Make beds and stock towels, washcloths, and hand towels according to policies
* Thoroughly clean and disinfect bathrooms and kitchenettes or coffee-preparation areas according to hotel policies
* Disinfect all surfaces, including high-touch items
* Clean mirrors, glass, and dust pictures and other objects in rooms
* Vacuum floors and remove trash
* Check complimentary coffee, snacks, and toiletry supplies in rooms and restock according to hotel checklists and policies
* Ensure rooms meet hotel and brand standards with a final walkaround
* Notify the supervisor of found items and bring them to the lost and found if guests have checked out
* Notify the supervisor of rollaways or cribs in rooms for pickup and storage
* Notify the supervisor of room availability
* Ensure soiled linens are provided to the laundry timely
* Notify the maintenance department of needed maintenance or repairs based on hotel processes

Requirements:

* Detail-oriented and thorough
* Ability to remain discreet and respect the privacy of guests
* Ability to perform consistent work to the highest standards
* Ability to interact with guests in a pleasant and friendly way
* Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in basic English (preferred)
